I finally decided to breathe.
I was reading and researching, living and listening, and taking it all in…holding it.
I was thinking, and planning, and dreaming about what if…and holding back.
What about you? Are you holding something back? Keeping something in?
Don’t you want to just breathe?
I finally decided to let it all out, beginning with the fear associated with letting it all out.
Fear equal to insecurity, fear of criticism, fear of the common fraud complex. But why wouldn’t they think I’m a fraud? I’ve been playing small, keeping it all in, holding it. They don’t know that I know things.
Those things I feared would only happen if I continued to play small and keep it all in.
Insecurity would harbor inside me and hold me back and never let me see if I could do or be more, or if could make a difference in other people’s lives.
Criticism always drifts about, and perhaps it would fall my way because I stayed quiet and didn’t share.
I was a fraud not being authentic, not sharing, not revealing what I’ve learned and found helpful.
So, I decided no more.
AUTHENTIC was one word of the year that I chose. I vowed to live authentically, acting according to my own visions, desires, and values.
Do you choose a word of the year? It’s fun, and you can find some guidance in this article.
I want to speak up more and hide less. I want to choose boldness instead of letting fear hold me back. Every choice I make will be based on authenticity, not fear.
Everything I allow into my life will be based on the confirmation that it is real, genuine, and matches my nature and spirit.
How does that sound for you? Would you like to join me on this quest?
So, that’s why I started a blog—to let go of fear and to share, connect, and be authentic.
To draw from a wealth of knowledge and notes about being healthy (holistically—mind, body, heart and spirit) that I am burning to share.
I’m so grateful you have come to check out my blog and/or website.
I hope you find validation, guidance, and inspiration here. Thats my goal with every client I work with and every article I write.
Authentic.
Now, what are you holding in? What are you going to set free this year?
I’d love to know. Leave a comment or send me an email.
Live, love and be well.
